A Peak Into My Suitcase

As I am typing this blog post I should probably be finishing up my packing.  I have gathered what I deem to be the most important items together- so that must count for something right?  I have completed what is hopefully a kick ass playlist consisting of 80 songs lasting 4.7 hours (which better be plenty!) and downloaded it onto my ipod shuffle.  Things are charged (camera, garmin, ipod) and ready to be used.  I have been to the chiropractor, ran my last 2 miles of the training program, had a massage and have been happily carb loading for a couple of days now.  Life is good.  My body feels good.  Matt (my massage guy) asked me today how I was feeling and if there were any areas he needed to focus on.  I did a body assessment on myself and told him "nope- I feel great!" What an amazing feeling to know that after running 397 miles since January 29th I have arrived on my marathon weekend with a healthy body, ready to tackle 26.2!

The things I need
Ready to run?  Yup!
This runner girl is heading to bed for a good solid 8 hours of sleep.  I will finish my packing in the morning I suppose!  We will be heading to Port Angeles in the morning so I can get my race packet and enjoy some time relaxing before 9am Sunday morning!!!
